Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Cohrus website, HR platform, and mobile applications. Please read them carefully before using our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cohrus website (cohrus.com), the Cohrus HR platform, and the Cohrus mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Services

Cohrus provides a cloud-based human resource management system (HRMS) for businesses, including workforce administration, attendance, leave, payroll, documents, and related HR features. Website visitors may browse marketing content, request demos, and contact our team. Access to the HR platform and mobile app is provisioned by your employer under a separate commercial agreement between Cohrus and your organization.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

The Services are intended for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. HR platform and mobile app accounts are created by your employer. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify your employer or Cohrus immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Customer and User Responsibilities

Organizations subscribing to Cohrus are responsible for configuring the platform, managing user access, ensuring lawful processing of employee data, and complying with applicable employment and privacy laws. End users must use the Services only for legitimate work-related purposes authorized by their employer and must not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: violate any applicable law or regulation; upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Services; scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Services except as permitted by law; use the Services to send spam or unlawful content; impersonate another person; or access data you are not authorized to view. Cohrus may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

6. Mobile Application

Use of the Cohrus mobile app is subject to these Terms and to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Your employer controls which features are enabled. Device permissions (such as camera, files, or location) may be requested only to support enabled features. You may stop using the app at any time by signing out or uninstalling it; account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Cohrus and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, branding, documentation, and website content. No rights are granted except as expressly stated. Customer data uploaded to the platform remains the property of the customer or its users as applicable under the customer agreement.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary unavailability. Cohrus may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Cohrus disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cohrus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer organization for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you are an individual user without a direct commercial relationship with Cohrus.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at cohrus.com/privacy-policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including how to request deletion of your account and data. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

Cohrus or your employer may suspend or terminate your access to the HR platform and mobile app at any time in accordance with the customer agreement or these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on cohrus.com and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
